Integrate AI into Your Smartphone, Right Now!
In the world of smartphone innovation, sometimes the simplest features can make the biggest difference.
The programmable Quick Access button is one such game-changer.
I recently purchased a new smartphone (Opel x65) which has one of these programmable Quick Access buttons.
At first, it seems odd and takes a little getting used its physical position.
This is the first smartphone I have owned which has one of these buttons.
And honestly, I didn't know what it was supposed to do or how I was supposed to use it.
But its beauty is in the design of being programmable.
And by "programmable", I mean how you want to use and what you want it to do is entirely up to you.
In my opinion, the most exciting aspect about the smartphone industry right now is the potential benefits AI offers users.
AI is already offering many benefits, in so many areas of our daily lives - on the internet, through our computers, and is now beginning to emerge as a key feature on smartphones.
Feeling a little frustrated at the speed device manufacturers operate, I began thinking how I could use the Quick Access button on my new smartphone to integrate AI.
Some readers may know I am already involved in app development projects, through Harmonious Platform Systems.
One of the more recent development features has been the AI+ Hub, which has become an important component of the #QANONSEC secure search Android app.
Essentially, the AI+ Hub is a web component accessible from inside the main app.
I wanted to program the Quick Access button to open the AI+ Hub, however programming it to open the #QANONSEC secure search app, simply to access the AI+ Hub, seemed like overkill.
After all, it's a Quick Access button - emphasis on "Quick".
So my solution was to develop a separate component (dark) app which contains quick access to the AI+ Hub, without all the added stuff that comes with the main #QANONSEC secure search Android app.
Besides, I have the main app installed and accessible already.
But in its current form it's not suited to be tied to a Quick Access button on a smartphone.
Unless that's what you wanted, of course.
The component app I have developed does exactly what I want.
Once the component app was installed, I simply programmed the Quick Access button to open the component app.
Now when I press the Quick Access button, no matter what I am doing or which app is currently open, it opens the component app and the AI+ Hub is instantly launched.
This provides quick and instant access to AI.
I have tailored the component app with custom Opel Mobile branding for better integration and aesthetics.
Because of the branding, it's not something I can actually release into the wild due to licensing rights and other legal reasons.
However, what it proves is just how useful a simple programmable Quick Access button on a smartphone can be.
It has allowed me to implement AI into my smartphone without waiting for the device manufacturer.
Programmable Quick Access buttons are just that, "programmable", therefore you don't have to use it to implement AI.
If AI isn't your thing, then you can program it to do whatever you want it to do.
However, understand that AI integration is coming to all smartphones, whether you want it or not.
But if you’re impatient like me and want AI integration right now, then purchasing an Android smartphone which has a programmable Quick Access button, and implementing your own AI component, is really the best way to go at this point.
